What did our attendees think?

Here are some comments we have received since staging the Middle East Waste Summit 2010. Were you there too? Send us your feedback...

"Thank you to you and your team for a well organised and run Summit in Dubai. We have made some strong contacts and will be following up with them over the coming months as to the potential for the use of our services in the UAE, and perhaps in other Gulf countries."  Graeme Alford, Chief Executive Officer, Landfill Gas and Power Pty Ltd

"It was fascinating to be part of the debate and discussion on a subject that I am familiar with but in an environment which is very different. I sat in a lot of sessions during my two days and enjoyed not just the quality of the presentations but the level of debate and honesty in the exchanges." Chris Murphy, Deputy Chief Executive, CIWM

“High calibre speakers providing global perspectives on what is a critical issue for the Middle East – well done!Adam Read, Knowledge Leader in Waste and Resource Management, AEA, and Regional Chair, CIWM

"The organization of the event was very smooth and it was a good opportunity to meet people from the industry." Richard Thompson, Technical Officer - Pesticide Risk Reduction, Food and Agriculture Organization, UN

"Keep up the great work, I was very impressed with the professional and top level organisation from start to finish. This is one of the best organised events I have been to in Dubai." Annelies Hodge- CSR Manager Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

“I have just attended the conference and found it very interesting. It provided an excellent forum for meeting and discussing issues with other managerial people in the sector. It also provided an excellent overview of what is happening in the Middle East. I will definitely be attending the next conference.” John Fursman, Director, Marchwood Scientific Services

For us, the round table session was very constructive. We stayed and debated for almost two hours with key contacts. You can count on us for next year for a round table or even a hosting of a session. Jacques R. Chahine, General Manager, EDESSA
